What they said...

The (London) Observer, in an unsolicited testimonial from June 2006 said:

"These traditional cottages are set in a lovely 10-acre site on the Atlantic coast with a large heated swimming pool and play areas for children. The beautiful beaches of the Cote Sauvage and the Ile d’Oléron are close, and the historic towns of La Rochelle and Saintes a short drive away."

News for 2012

The new tennis court is a great success. We provide racquets and balls, including smaller racquets and slower balls for young children. 2012 sees the croquet lawn ready for action and beyond that is a large level pitch for any other games you would like to play.

Gertie (the goat) is a great favourite and loves attention, particularly if you take her raw carrots, her favourite food! We are just finishing building a hen house and hope that we will be able to provide a good supply of new laid eggs. We are also planning to create a salad and herb garden but this is likely to be more seasonal!
